Call for Artists!

The Gurus were patron of the arts such as architecture, music, poetry and visual arts. From designing many levels of meaning into the architecture of Gurdwarae, connecting raag to shabad, singing and reciting of the dhadi vaaran and poetry from Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Kavi Darbaar, hand-writing of the shabads in calligraphy, art was used as an important vehicle to express and mobilize. Continuing this tradition SAFAR is committed to supporting artists by creating a forum where art can be showcased. You are invited to submit your art for the Our Journeys 2012 Conference.
